AgriSense analysis stays inside a polygon. You can digitize the parcel on the map or upload a KML / KMZ that already exists in QGIS, Google Earth, or a partner GIS.
Draw on the map
-
Open Draw Feature
From Platform tools open AgriSense, then Draw Feature. You can also go directly to the draw workspace.
-
Trace the field
Zoom to the parcel. Click around the boundary and close the polygon. Keep vertices on the actual field edge so mixed pixels (road, canal, rooftop) stay out.
-
Name the shape and set geometry
Fill Shape Name, optional description, dates, dataset, and method, then submit Set Geometry.
Upload KML or KMZ
-
Open the upload workspace
Choose Upload KML from the AgriSense dialog, or open KML upload.
-
Select the file
Use a polygon (not a point or line). Multi-part files work, but start with one field if this is your first run.
-
Continue with analysis settings
After the geometry loads, set index or image mode, cloud cover, and dates the same way as in the draw tool.
If the polygon looks shifted, check that the KML is in WGS84 (EPSG:4326). Re-export from Google Earth or QGIS if vertices land in the ocean or another province.
